Vintage Kuchi Coin Pendants, Assorted Sizes, 10 Pieces

You know those old coins that you see sewn onto the edges and fringes of gypsy goods? Yes, these are those fabulous coins! Old coins dating from 1950-1990 Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Turkey have been soldered with a metal loop at the top. These are absolutely perfect for sewing or stringing onto all of your boho-chic projects.

These amazing coins come from the Kuchi people, a nomadic group of Pashtun people from Afghanistan. The name Kuchi (or Kochi) literally means "migration," and these people lead a nomadic, pastoral lifestyle. That is why the coins come from all over the region. Tassels and fringe, in the form of coins and fabrics, are often associated with gypsy style and decor.

This listing is for a group of 10 Small or Large sized coin pendants.

The small/medium range in size from approximately 18mm-22mm in diameter.

The medium/large range in size from approximately 28mm-31mm in diameter.

The listing is for a random assortment of the sizes within each option, unless otherwise specified.

The holes on the bails vary, as you can see in the photos, but they are all approximately 3-4mm wide, so they are perfect for leather and other types of cord.

Please see last photo to see the small and medium size on the left, the large size on the right.
