Stripes meet Batik Indigo in this beautiful vintage African textile. There is something timelessly alluring about the beautiful blue of Indigo. Called "the color that seduced the world," Indigo is prominent in many African textiles.
This beautiful cloth is vintage, from Burkina Faso. This piece is made of 5 strips of cloth that have been stitched together.
This one is a beautiful combination of batiked cloth and golden threads running through. This piece could be worn as a shawl or a wrap, it would be beautiful as a wall hanging, or would be great for other decorating projects.
It is in beautiful vintage condition, and amazingly soft. There are a few stains on this one, as you can see in the photos; I have made no efforts to clean it, so they may come out. These can be hand-washed, or machine washed on gentle, line dry.
Textile measures 44" wide x 58" long.
I have lots of other textiles. Click here to shop.
