You can feel the magic in this piece; it is an authentic talisman from a Balinese Medicine Man. I'm not sure what this is made of; it appears to be some kind of tusk or bone, but I am not sure so I'll not hazard a guess. The bone/tusk is wrapped in three places with a twine, in a knotted pattern. The lower two wraps are for decoration, the top is for the pendant attachment, with a knotted loop at the top.
The pendant measures 4.75" from the top of the loop to the bottom of the pendant.
It is about 16mm wide at the top.
The hole in the pendant loop measures approximately 4mm.
This is an old piece; this is evident from the aged color of the bone, and the weathered appearance of the knotted twine. It is beautifully aged and obviously was very special to its maker and wearer. You too can carry on the magic...
