These amazing beads are a beautiful pearlescent pink color, in a dice shape that is getting harder to find. Dating back to the mid1900's, these beads were made in the Czech Republic and traded into Africa. I love the dice shape! The ends are molded at an angle so they have a great diagonal way of stacking on the strand.
This listing is for 1 strand in a beautiful dusty-rose pink. Beads measure approximately 5x8mm. The strand is strung in a loop, the way they are traditionally strung in Africa. The entire strand is 35" long (11" of beads with 4" of twisted twine at the top). Approximately 94 beads per strand.
These beads are old; they date back as early as the early 1900's and originated from Europe. They do show some dirt and minor wear, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence. I have made no efforts to clean these beads.
