These Buddha Eye "Dzi Beads" are made in Tibet by etching agate. The technique dates back to 3000BC. These beads are thought to have positive spiritual benefits and are worn as amulets. In Tibetan and and Himalayan cultures, Dzi beads are believed to be stones fallen from the heaves, and they thought to bring good fortune, ward off evil, and protect the wearer from harm. These beads have different patterns that hold different representations.
The pattern on these beads is called Thunder & Lightning. The lightning symbol is believed to help in obtaining one's desires, while the thunder is supposed to bring wealth.
