How cool are these beads?! Called Glass Snake Vertebrae because of the way they interlock like a snake's backbone. Zig-zag in shape, these beads are like little puzzle pieces. Very popular this season with all of the tribal and african fashion trends!
This listing is for 1 strand in a beautiful pastel yellow. Beads measure approximately 6x4mm (4mm from top of zig to bottom of zag), with about a 2mm, hole. The strand is strung in a loop, they way they are traditionally strung in Africa, approximately 25" long (21.5" of beads with 4.5" of twisted twine at the top). Approximately 170 beads per strand.
Wear these beads as is, or break them apart to make some tribal juju of your own. (If you plan to wear these as-is, I would not recommend getting the twine wet).
These beads are old; they do show some dirt and minor chips on some of the edges, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.Click here
