As Old as the Sea: Antique White Glass Beads, Graduated Strand, 29" Long

These antique beauties are an incredible white crackled color. They look like something that would wash up on the beach...beautifully aged, beautifully alluring.

These beads were likely made in Italy and traded into Africa. The have beautiful sandy and creamy white colors. They have obviously been buried, worn, and travelled far.

This listing is for 1 strand. The strand is graduated, and the beads measure between 3x2mm, up to 9x5mm, and have a 1-2mm, hole.

The strand is strung in a loop, they way they are traditionally strung, approximately 29" long total. There are approximately 25" of beads, the thread adds an additional 4" at the top.

There are approximately 110 beads per strand.

These beads are old. They do show some dirt and minor chips and crackled texture, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.
